Weekly Updates🎉
This whole "I Can’t" really means "I won’t" thought has really gotten me to pay attention again this week. I started asking "Why won’t you" and answering. It’s actually helped relieve guilt. Let’s be honest... we all deal with guilt, I’m not the only one. But asking myself why won’t you and getting an answer has helped me this week understand the choices I made vs. what-if spiral. I’ve been listening to the same 4-5 sections in the book "Letting Go" on guilt and its temporary nature that we make permanent.
Ideal customer. I’ve also been building our ICP for ContentCoach.Social and the YouTube channel. I’ve been finding myself making a classic mistake that keeps me going back to the drawing board. There are fundamental premises about the "state" your ideal customer is in that you must hold true UNTIL evidence causes it to be false. I know our ideal customer is already creating content... but I keep listing pain points for someone who has never made content.
Quarterly Planning: it’s Q3 2024. While I traveled in June I had ample time to look very objectively at my business and see areas that were running well and others that were limping. One of the areas that I saw that was limping was our ability to do deep analysis. We are great at data collection. We are great at data correlation but what we are not great at is analyzing data correlation with buyer psychology. So Each department has projects to become better at deep analysis.
BIG WINS For Clients
Simply Amazing growth Month over Month for 2 of our clients on YouTube. What I love though is the Click Through Rate... Shows that the video connected with the viewer and they wanted MORE... love it!
BTW... measuring views and subscribers are meaningless unless they click and go to your website.
Book I’m Currently Reading 🕮
“We have the opportunity to choose whether we want to hang on or let go of emotional upsets. We can look at the cost of hanging on to them. Do we want to pay the price? Are we willing to accept the feelings? We can look at the benefits of letting go of them. The choice we make will determine our future. What kind of a future do we want? Will we choose to be healed, or will we become one of the walking wounded?”

Anuj Adhiya
Everyone felt like a bit of an outcast in a room. That was Anuj and I, the day we met at an event where we were both speakers. We met at the VIP speaker reception where it was clear there were in crowds and out. That's what brought us together but our love for Indian cuisine made an instant connection with us. He kept rubbing it in that after the event he was on his way to India to gain 5 pounds in 2 days from good eating.
The day we met, I was also hosting a Dinner with Friends. I decided to take a chance and invited him. He not only attended but had a fantastic time connecting with everyone. Not surprisingly, that was not our last meal together on that trip.
Beyond his culinary expertise in Indian food, Anuj’s presentation at the event revealed his profound knowledge of human behavior. He understands how we operate as individuals and how marketers can leverage this insight to craft better messaging, whether for hiring or customer acquisition. I was thoroughly impressed by his expertise and the impact he has in helping companies grow, scale, and prepare for acquisition.
Anuj is such an incredible individual (except for when he is torturing me talking about the food he ate in India).
