Weekly Updates

  1. There is a very fine line of understanding the relationship between accomplishment and trust. Most people won’t/don't even know it exists. This week I learned it did. I'm not even going to pretend that I've figured this out yet... I’ve just recognized it. Q2 2024 has been ridiculously busy and packed. As a team, we have done a ton. I also lost 2 key players in my plan this quarter which caused me to shoulder more load as I trained new people or devised ways around our plan. In that.... decisions had to be made. Sometimes quickly and in a few cases, I did not consider the ramifications of the ripples well enough. Specifically, I made the choice to fire someone who was dismissive and disrespectful to women. There was a ton more to the story but I really thought people (especially the women) would understand and not be "affected" that I made that choice. I was wrong! It sent the wrong message that people would be fired without proper process. That uncovered other sensitivities people were holding. I took the time to take responsibility and ask the hard questions to understand what were the root issues.

  2. Flight Club Mastermind.... OMG. What an experience, what a group of people.

  3. As we go through the Story Strategy Framework, it's all based on a concept called pre-framing. At Level Up Claims Summit this week, I got to show an audience “how” and “why” it works.

  4. Big 3 planning for Q3 is in full effect for me and I'm working through the growth goals for A Warriors Understanding. Right now, we are growing at about 1 subscriber a day.

  5. For ContentCoach.social, I want to create partnerships with other service providers whose audience needs to create content. Last week, I had great meetings with Leduc Entertainment who build amazing podcast shows for their clients, and The Civet Group who support businesses in the healthcare and logistics spaces with fractional COO and CRO services.

  6. Massive WIN.... I rewrote my keynote speech about pre-framing and used pre-framing in the speech to cause the audience to take action. It was an experiment.... and it worked!

“Your Vivid Vision should behave like a magnet, drawing some people in and pushing others—hopefully not too many—away. If your scope is too small, too milquetoast, or too watered down, or if everyone likes it, no one will love it. If this is the case, you have failed.”

Dinner With Friends

I host dinners with my friends in every city I visit—a night of good food and networking with great people, aimed at making connections and meeting individuals who might have solutions to your most challenging problems.

Introducing Brittni, whose willingness to take risks truly inspires me. Most people who attend Atiba's Dinner with Friends have met me or spent time with me on Zoom. Brittni and I were LinkedIn connections and had never met when we invited her to Atiba's Dinner with Friends in Dallas. Not knowing what she was getting into but intrigued by the invite, Brittini signed up and drove several hours to attend. Most of us won't go to a free event in our town!

In today's era, which is dominated by virtual meetings, Brittni’s commitment to establishing genuine, in-person connections is truly refreshing. Her determination to engage with people face-to-face is proof of her appreciation for the importance of human interaction.

At the dinner, Brittni's presence was enriching and her contributions sparked meaningful conversations and added a rich depth to the evening. It's no surprise that her social media marketing agency, Create By Brittni Bell, LLC. thrives, as a result of her authenticity in connecting with people.
