Have we lost the meaning of true empowerment?
The other day, I held the door open for a woman pushing a stroller. She didn’t say thank you. She didn’t even acknowledge it. Instead, she gave me a look that felt like disgust. It stopped me in my tracks. Not because I needed gratitude, but because it made me question something bigger. Have we, in our pursuit of equality, created a world where kindness is mistaken for condescension?
I’ve always believed in women's liberation, equal pay, and empowerment. Not because women need to be lifted up, but because they are that important. Respect isn’t about obligation. It’s about recognition. But in today’s world, where independence is championed rightfully so, how do we ensure that mutual support and appreciation don’t get lost in the conversation? How do we empower women in a way that truly honors their worth?
Let’s talk about it. Have you ever had a moment that made you rethink what empowerment really means? Hit reply, I’d love to hear your thoughts. And if this resonates, share it with someone who needs to hear it.

"Success isn’t about trophies or fame it’s about overcoming yourself. The real battle is not on the court, but within, where doubt, fear, and expectation fight for control. Only when you stop playing for others and start playing for yourself do you truly win." — Andre Agassi
Dinner With Friends🍽️
Dinner with Friends in the Philippines.
Some moments in life just hit different.
For the first time ever, I traveled to the Philippines, not for business, not for meetings, not for a big agenda, but for something more personal.
To sit down. To share a meal. To truly connect.
After years of working together across screens and time zones, this was more than just dinner with friends. It was about shaking hands instead of sending emails, hearing laughter in person instead of over Zoom, and breaking bread with the very people who help turn vision into reality.
No speeches, no presentations. Just real conversations, real gratitude, and a deep appreciation for the journey we are on together.
To my team, you are the heartbeat of everything we do. This trip reminded me that success isn’t just about the work but about the people who make it all possible.
Here’s to more moments like this. 🥂
