Atiba’s Musings 🤓

Have you ever felt like your emotions were sabotaging your business—and you didn’t even know how to talk about it? Like one moment you’re full of courage, and the next you’re spiraling into guilt, fear, or apathy… and still expected to lead like nothing’s wrong?

Yeah. I’ve been there. And in this week’s issue of A Warrior’s Understanding, I’m pulling back the curtain on something that changed everything for me: the consciousness continuum. It’s not therapy. It’s not hype. It’s a simple, human map of how your emotional states guide (or misguide) your business, your leadership, and your life. We talk emotional intelligence, mindset shifts, and how to stop judging yourself for feeling “too much.” Because every emotion you feel? It’s just a data point. And that one insight alone can radically shift your personal growth and business performance.

I’d love for you to read it—and if it resonates with you, hit reply and tell me what part hit home. Or better yet, forward it to someone who’s navigating emotional leadership alone right now. Let’s stop pretending we’re “fine” and start having real conversations. Subscribe now at https://awarriorsunderstanding.com. You’re not the only one feeling this. Let’s grow through it—together.

Book I’m Currently Reading 🕮

This book is reshaping the way I think about leadership and culture. It’s not just about managing tasks it’s about understanding the “tribe” we’re part of. Every group has its own cultural stage, and as leaders, we have the power to shift it forward. Tribal Leadership gives language to what many of us have felt but couldn’t explain. If you lead a team or dream of doing so, this one’s worth your time.

Have you read it? What stage do you think your tribe is in?
Let’s start the conversation 👇💬 I’d love to hear your take.

Dinner With Friends🍽️

Sometimes the best kind of magic happens around a table. On April 23, we gathered at Stella San Jac in the heart of Austin and what unfolded was more than just a meal. It was laughter with new faces, deep conversations that lingered longer than expected, and that quiet joy of being seen and heard.

Sam, Brittney, Rachel, Barton, and Josh each brought their own stories, warmth, and presence. We didn’t just share food; we shared space, sincerity, and connection. It was a night that reminded us that community isn’t something you wait for it’s something you show up for.

And good news: Dinner with Friends is heading to Denver and Las Vegas this June! If you’ve ever wanted to join a night like this where the vibes are real and the people are even realer consider this your nudge. No registration link yet, but keep your eyes (and inbox) open. We’d love to share a table with you.

💬 Got a favorite memory from Austin? Hit reply, comment, or share it with us we're still soaking it all in

Community Spotlight

I glanced across the room, and there they were Beejel and Yoggi Parmar, seated gracefully at the head of the table during one of my Dinners with Friends. What struck me most was that I hadn’t known who they were. They had arrived as someone’s guests and sat with a kind of confidence, totally owning it.

When we finally met, I was enveloped by their elegant grace, paired with a genuine warmth that made conversation flow effortlessly. Since that first encounter, I’ve been to their home for an event, and we’ve attended other Mastermind events together. Each time, Beejel and Yoggi bring an unmistakable sense of peace.

What’s remarkable is that I’m not alone in feeling this. Everyone around them—colleagues, clients and their staff also experiences the same tranquil presence. In a staffing world full of constant urgency and pressure, they offer something rare: a sense of calm that’s both rare and reassuring.

Beejel is currently the CEO of BeeEPiC Outsourcing, a trusted partner for businesses looking to scale with top-tier Virtual and Executive Assistants.
