Atiba’s Musings🤓
( A Warrior’s Understanding )

Ever wondered why we feel the need to defend our beliefs and perspectives, even when we’re not entirely sure why? 🤔 What happens when our views clash with someone else’s—can we still coexist peacefully, or does it always lead to conflict?

I’ve been reflecting on the idea of "mine and my" and how our tendency to possessively defend what we believe is "ours" can lead to unnecessary struggles. This mindset often stems from fear—the fear of loss, fear of shame, fear of not belonging. When we approach the world from a place of fear, we can’t truly experience love and respect for others, and we end up defending our truth instead of letting it simply be.

In my latest video, I dive into how different perspectives don’t need to lead to conflict. Instead, they can exist in harmony. It’s all about shifting from "mine and my" to recognizing that we all bring different viewpoints to the table, and that’s perfectly okay. No need to defend what is simply your perspective.

I believe this mindset shift can help us break free from cycles of possessiveness and fear, and move toward a place of peace, love, and respect for everyone’s truth. 🌍

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. How do you navigate differing perspectives in your life and work? Reply to this email and let’s continue the conversation if this resonates with you!

Book I’m Currently Reading 🕮

I’ve been immersing myself in The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles, and I can honestly say it’s a game-changer. This book flips the script on how we think about wealth and success. It teaches us that getting rich isn’t about chance, it's about cultivating the right mindset and taking aligned action.

What really hit home for me: The idea that wealth is a natural outcome of thought and intention. It’s not just about working harder, but about thinking in a certain way and acting from a place of abundance. The more I reflect on it, the more I see how this mindset can transform the way we approach not only our finances but the impact we’re meant to create.

How this is shifting my approach: I’m now focusing on aligning my thoughts and actions with my purpose and vision. Instead of just aiming for more, I’m aiming for abundance—not just for myself but for the teams and communities I work with. It’s about embracing the idea that wealth and success flow when we act with intention and a positive, abundant mindset.

If you haven’t read The Science of Getting Rich, do yourself a favor and grab a copy. If you’ve read it, I’d love to hear what stood out to you. Let’s talk about how this book is shaping our path to success.

And hey, what’s on your reading list for personal growth right now?

Community Spotlight

Ever met someone who seems to have the golden touch? That’s my buddy Jeremy Funderburk. He’s one of those rare people who dives into a new industry and crushes it every single time. It’s incredible to watch, but what’s even more impressive is how he uses everything he’s learned to help others break free from their 9-to-5 grind.

Getting the people closest to you to buy into and act on what you teach isn’t always easy - believe me, I’m still trying to get my wife to start her YouTube channel! But Jeremy didn’t just inspire his wife; she became one of his clients and now works alongside him in the business. Thanks to Jeremy, she was able to leave her 40-hour-a-week job behind.

Jeremy isn’t just about achieving success; he’s about making it happen for the people around him. If you’re looking for someone to inspire, empower, and guide you, Jeremy’s the real deal.

He’s the co-founder of Double My Deals, where he works his magic to help businesses grow and thrive.
