The Mindset That Separates the Great From Everyone Else

Hey,

There’s a phrase we’ve all heard before: “What got you here won’t get you there.”
It sounds cliché, but the longer I live it, the more truth I see in it.

In this video, I break down Principle #6 of resilience: the standard rises with every win.
Winning once doesn’t make the next win easier, it actually makes it harder.

What worked last year won’t work this year.
The way you communicated before won’t land the same now.
The conditions change. Expectations rise. The bar moves.

That’s where a lot of people get stuck.

It’s human nature to think, “I won this way before, so I’ll just do it again.”
But resilience requires staying committed to the result, not getting comfortable with the process that got you there.

Here’s something important that often gets misunderstood: never being satisfied doesn’t mean tearing yourself down.
It doesn’t mean ignoring your wins or living in impostor syndrome.

It means owning what you’ve accomplished without letting it slow you down.

Stand up.
Acknowledge the wins.
Tell yourself the truth.
And still say, “There’s more in me.”

Where people go wrong is comparison.
Comparison creates dissatisfaction from a place of lack and that will drain you fast.

Instead, I try to ask one simple question:
“What’s the most I can get out of this moment?”

Not yesterday.
Not someone else’s life.
Just this moment, then the next one.

Living this way can feel lonely. Most people don’t understand it.
Sometimes even the people closest to you won’t get why you won’t slow down, ease up, or “just enjoy it.”

They mean well.
But comfort is often the very thing that keeps us from the result.

That’s why choosing the right people, your chosen family, matters.
People who understand the fight, the pressure, and the standard you’re holding yourself to.

If this message resonated with you, I go much deeper into it in the full video.

The AiM Rounds 👩‍⚕️

More and more doctors are joining our AiM (AI & Marketing) Rounds—doctors who want smarter systems that don’t rely entirely on them.

Think of it like after-hours rounds for your business: asynchronous, practical, and focused on leverage.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Join a doctors-only WhatsApp group

  2. Ask real questions about AI, marketing, automation, or growth

  3. Get actionable answers (voice notes or text)

  4. The best questions get deep breakdowns and spotlights

Good questions to ask:

  • “I’m already using automated emails, where would AI actually improve results?”

  • “How can I delegate this process while still hitting results?”

You get:

  • Direct answers to real AI & marketing questions

  • Daily micro-insights and prompts

  • Weekly AI updates and tool spotlights

  • Guidance without needing a call

How to Join:

👉 To be part of this exclusive doctors-only WhatsApp community, simply reply to this email and type: “JOIN AiM”

A FREE Webclass for Doctors 🩺

Some doctors are starting to use AI in a completely different way and it’s quietly changing how their practices run.

Meanwhile, most are still stuck doing more work… just with more tools.

If your practice only functions because you’re constantly stepping in, solving problems, and making every decision, AI alone won’t fix that.

In fact, adding random AI tools often makes things worse:
More systems to manage.
More things to monitor.
More mental load on you.

This FREE webclass shows a smarter approach.

Because “using AI” isn’t the real goal.

Designing an AI Employee is.

It’s not about stacking apps, it’s about creating structured support that actually removes work from your plate.

In this session, you’ll discover how doctors are using AI as:

• A clearly defined role inside the practice
• A reliable assistant with specific responsibilities
• A system that reduces decision fatigue, not adds to it

What You’ll Learn:

• How to set up an AI “employee” that truly supports your workflow
• The critical foundations you must have before implementing AI
• How to stop being the bottleneck in your own practice

Your practice should run with you — not rely entirely on you.

Bonus Insight 🎁

I recently realized: carrying everything alone isn’t strength—it’s habit.

The weight doesn’t come from one big thing, it’s all the small things that pile up unnoticed.

When I named it “emotional overload” it didn’t vanish, but it stopped feeling invisible.

Resilience is raising your standards without being crushed by them.

What’s one small weight you’ve been carrying lately?

The Delegation Trap 📕

Delegation often fails for one simple reason:

Leaders try to operate at a higher level, without raising the standard of the roles around them.

When you win, your responsibilities change.
But many leaders keep doing tasks that belonged to their previous level.

That’s how bottlenecks form.

Growth requires redefining your role after every win.

Not holding onto it.

Inside the book, you’ll learn:
• Why success demands new standards for ownership
• How leaders unintentionally stay stuck in old roles
• Why real delegation begins with redefining value

👉 Build a business that evolves as you grow.

What We’re Building with AI 🤖

One thing I see over and over with owners:

Every time you win, the standard rises, but the workload usually rises with it.

That’s where people get stuck.

Not because they aren’t capable…
But because they’re still carrying too much in their head.

That’s exactly why we built the TrueMD Institute – Freedom 30™ Tracker.

It’s designed to help you raise your standards without raising your stress.

Here’s how it works:

• It turns a 120-day growth plan into simple weekly actions you can actually delegate
• It gives you visibility into progress without needing constant check-ins
• It prevents work from quietly sliding back onto your plate

Because AI isn’t about replacing you.

It’s about helping you operate at a higher standard after every win, without burning out or becoming the bottleneck again.

Book I’m Currently Reading 📚

Beyond Blind Blaming — Kevin D. St. Clergy

One line that hit me this week: “Growth begins when you stop defending the level you’ve outgrown.”

This book explores a powerful idea:

Many leaders don’t stay stuck because of circumstances, but because they keep protecting systems that once worked.

Resilience requires letting go of old structures after every win.

If you’re ready to stop protecting what no longer serves your next level, this book will challenge you.

Tool Spotlight 🛠

Repurpose

One of the biggest challenges after a win? Maintaining consistency as your standards rise.

Repurpose helps you do exactly that.

  • Automate follow-ups & marketing

  • Assign ownership without chasing tasks

  • Build systems that run without you

So instead of working harder to maintain growth, you build systems that sustain it.

👉 Raise your output without raising your workload.

Community 👥

Raising your standards can feel uncomfortable.

Sometimes even lonely.

Because not everyone around you understands why you won’t slow down after a win.

That’s why this community exists.

A space for leaders who:
• Are growing faster than their environment
• Want support without judgment
• Need clarity as they step into higher standards

You don’t have to navigate that transition alone.

👉 Join a place where growth feels understood.
