Atiba’s Musings 🤓
The Resilience Mindset That Creates Opportunities
In this part of the series, I’m talking about principle number two of resilience, and honestly, this one hit me harder than I expected.
It comes from Tim Grover’s idea of becoming a cleaner. And no, not the kind that cleans houses. A cleaner is someone who doesn’t sit around waiting for life to open a door — they kick one open.
Grover makes a distinction between closers and cleaners. Closers are great when the opportunity shows up. Cleaners don’t wait for that. They create the opportunity and then handle it. That’s a completely different mindset.
Here’s the part that matters: resilience isn’t about what happens to you. Stuff is always going to happen. The difference is whether you stand there waiting… or you move.
Most of us get stuck because we’re waiting for something — permission, confidence, better timing, someone else’s approval. I’ve done this more times than I can count. I told myself I needed more experience, more clarity, more “right conditions.” And if I’m being honest, a lot of that was just fear dressed up as logic.
Cleaners don’t wait for permission. They don’t wait for perfect conditions. They don’t wait for someone to tell them the next step. They move, knowing they might screw it up — because standing still is already losing.
That part stung for me.
I realized how often I avoided accountability because accountability forces action. If nobody knows what you’re planning, you can always back out. Once I started saying things out loud, setting dates, and letting people hold me to it… I couldn’t hide anymore. I had to move.
And that’s really the question I leave you with:
Where are you standing still?
What are you waiting for that you don’t actually need?
If this resonates, watch the full video — there’s more nuance and context that I couldn’t fit here.

And I’d genuinely love this part — reply to this email and tell me what stood out or where you know you’ve been holding yourself back.
No pressure. Just honesty.
The AiM Rounds 👩⚕️
The AiM (AI & Marketing) Rounds are built for doctors who are done waiting for clarity — and ready to create it.
This isn’t about hype or “someday” ideas.
It’s about taking what you already have and turning it into forward motion.
In each session, we take a real marketing or AI question and work it live — the same way clinical rounds work. No fluff. Just decisions and next steps.
🕗 Time: 8:00 p.m. EST / 5:00 p.m. PST (Mon–Fri)
🎯 Format: 30 minutes. Doctors only. Direct answers. No fluff.
How it works:
You submit a real AI or marketing question
I answer it live — like clinical rounds
We turn confusion into a clear next move
Ask questions that:
Connect AI to your current marketing activities
Clarify what AI can or cannot do for your practice
Focus on decisions, not hype
Example: “I’m using automated emails, where would AI actually improve results?”

Bonus Insight 🎁
For a long time, I thought resilience meant carrying everything myself.
If something needed doing, I took it on — not because I should, but because I didn’t trust that it would move forward otherwise. Eventually, that stopped being strength and started becoming stagnation.
Resilience isn’t about holding more.
It’s about creating movement — even when it feels uncomfortable.
The full post breaks down the shift that helped me stop waiting and start moving again.

The Delegation Trap 📕
Delegation Fails When You Wait for Perfect Clarity
Delegation doesn’t break because people won’t help.
It breaks because leaders wait until everything feels “ready.”
The Delegation Trap reframes delegation as an act of resilience — creating systems that move without you hovering.
Inside, you’ll learn:
Why waiting to delegate slows everything down
How to create ownership instead of dependency
A simple framework for turning hesitation into action
Delegation isn’t giving things away.
It’s creating momentum that doesn’t rely on you.
👉 Build systems that move — even when you don’t have all the answers.

Book I’m Currently Reading 📚

Secrets of the Millionaire Mind
By T. Harv Eker
This book reminded me that most limits aren’t external — they’re internal.
One line that stood out this week:
“How you do anything is how you do everything.”
Waiting shows up everywhere.
So does resilience.
This book isn’t about money tactics. It’s about identity — and who you believe you’re allowed to become before you ever act.
👉 Listen if you’re ready to stop waiting for permission to grow.
Tool Spotlight 🛠

Restream
Most people don’t struggle because they lack ideas.
They struggle because they keep waiting for the right moment to show up.
Restream removes that pause.
It lets you go live, share your message, and show up now — across platforms — without needing a full production team or perfect setup.
Why this matters for resilience:
You stop waiting to “feel ready”
You create opportunities by showing up consistently
You build momentum by speaking before everything is polished
Resilient creators don’t wait to be perfect.
They press “go” and let clarity catch up.
👉 Use Restream to create opportunities by showing up where your audience already is.
