Will AI Replace Coders? | The Future of Programming
Everyone’s talking about how AI, especially GPT-5, might replace programmers. It feels like anyone can call themselves a coder now because tools can generate code from plain language. I’ve tested platforms like Lovable and GenSpark, and while they’re impressive, my years of coding experience tell me one thing: coders aren’t going away.
These tools still make mistakes. I had an app working one day, then completely broken the next because the AI rewrote code incorrectly and even replaced my webhooks with mock data. If you don’t know coding logic, you’d be stuck and frustrated. That’s why real programmers are still essential—we can see what the AI misses and fix it.
AI will definitely keep getting smarter, but that only makes skilled coders more valuable. Instead of being replaced, programmers will use AI to build faster and better than ever before. The future isn’t the end of coding jobs—it’s a renaissance for coders.
👉️ I’d love to know: Do you think AI will replace programmers, or will it just make skilled coders unstoppable? Reply and share your thoughts—I’d love to feature some answers in my next newsletter.

What We’re Building with AI 🤖
Chat-to-Video AI App Tutorial | N8N + GenSpark + Heygen
This week on AI Build, I walked everyone through something we’ve been developing behind the scenes for a while our chat-to-video app. Now, this isn’t just another chatbot. What makes it exciting is that instead of only returning text, it can generate a full video response to your question. Imagine asking a question in a chat window and getting a personalized video back that’s the kind of functionality we’re building.
I showed how the system ties together N8N for the backend workflow and GenSpark for the frontend interface. The workflow pulls from my book The Delegation Trap using a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) setup, turns the answer into a clean video script, and then sends it to Heygen to create the video. There are a lot of moving parts: cleaning transcripts so Heygen doesn’t choke, setting up webhooks to pass data correctly, polling for video status, and handling the quirks like when Heygen splits longer responses into multiple videos.
On the frontend, GenSpark makes it user-friendly. You can type or speak a question, choose whether you want a text or video response, and the system handles the rest. It wasn’t smooth sailing I had to debug structure mismatches, rewrite prompts, and work around errors, but that’s part of building something real. At the end of the day, what we now have is a Delegation Trap Pocket Coach: ask it a question, and it not only answers but can actually speak back to you on video. It’s not perfect yet, but it’s a big step forward. And that’s what excites me turning all this AI potential into tangible, working tools we can actually use and show to clients.

Book I’m Currently Reading 🕮
“All results are going to come from habits. All good results over a period of time are the result of routines and habits that have been measured, enculturated, and grown.”
This quote is a reminder that success doesn’t happen by accident. It’s not about rare bursts of effort but about the small, consistent actions we repeat every day. When aligned with our values, those habits compound into meaningful transformation.
