Weekly Updates🎉

  1. Major realization - we have built a comprehensive onboarding process AND it's too much.  New people are being fire hosed and retention is low.  We will audit the process this quarter and modify it in the 4th quarter.

  2. In the process of 10x, you have to focus on your 20% activities that are uniquely you and let go of the rest.  After you have done this several times it becomes apparent that systems fail in your 80% that you gave up cycles ago.... In these moments, it's very tempting to pick back up part of the 80%.... Instead, we need to train and fix the system.  This week I learned of some wickedly wrong SEO practices we were engaging in.  The failure happened because I had given up day-to-day SEO 3 cycles ago.  In those moments, our arrogance wants to take over... "I should not have trusted" or "No one can do it like me".  It's faulty thinking.

Community Spotlight

So there are few people whose hat collections can rival mine, and Dave Lubelczyk certainly does. What I truly admire about him is his commitment to living life on his terms. Despite societal pressures and expectations, he has crafted a life that aligns with his values and happiness, and he doesn't let anyone else's opinions sway him.

This sense of freedom and self-determination is something I admire. Many of us are slaves to society, slaves to reality, or slaves to our own minds. Dave, however, has made a conscious choice to break free from these constraints and design a life that nourishes his soul every day.

I also appreciate his authenticity and his courage to always show up as his true self. His example challenges those around him to do the same, creating an environment where everyone is encouraged to embrace their authenticity.
