Your Brain Wasn't Meant to Carry All of This.

Issue #102 - July 25, 2026

Have you ever noticed...

that some of your biggest projects aren't sitting on your to-do list?

They're sitting in your head.

Ideas.

Conversations you need to have.

Projects that connect to other projects.

Things you don't want to forget.

Random thoughts that pop into your mind while you're driving, working out, or trying to fall asleep.

After a while, you stop realizing how much mental energy it takes just to carry all of it.

I think a lot of us have accepted that as normal.

I know I did.

Over the past couple of months, I've been experimenting with something that started as a pretty simple idea.

Like most people, I'd seen all the AI assistants promising to save time by checking email, organizing files, or handling little administrative tasks.

And don't get me wrong...

those things are helpful.

But they weren't solving the problem I actually cared about.

My biggest challenge wasn't answering more emails.

It was trying to keep an entire business, dozens of projects, and hundreds of ideas connected inside my own head.

I wasn't looking for another assistant.

I was looking for something that could think with me.

So I started having a conversation.

Not a prompt.

Not a one-time experiment.

An ongoing conversation that lasted for weeks.

Every framework I'd developed over the years.

Every project.

Every philosophy.

Every idea that mattered.

I shared it.

And something interesting happened.

Instead of simply answering questions...

it started asking me better ones.

Questions about how I think.

How I make decisions.

Why I approach problems the way I do.

What mattered most.

Little by little, it stopped feeling like I was teaching software.

It felt like I was externalizing part of my own thinking.

Then something happened that completely caught me off guard.

For the first time in a long time...

my brain got quiet.

Not because there was less to do.

There wasn't.

There were still projects.

Still meetings.

Still ideas.

Still deadlines.

But I wasn't carrying every one of them in my head anymore.

I wasn't trying to remember what connected to what.

I wasn't mentally reviewing unfinished projects before falling asleep.

I wasn't worried that a good idea would disappear if I didn't write it down immediately.

It was all there.

The thinking hadn't stopped.

I had simply stopped being the only place where the thinking lived.

That, to me, is one of the most overlooked opportunities with AI.

Most people are asking,

"What tasks can AI do for me?"

I'm starting to ask a different question.

"What mental burden can AI help me stop carrying?"

Because there's a big difference.

One saves time.

The other creates clarity.

Your brain is incredible at creating.

It's terrible at being a storage unit.

The more mental space you spend remembering, tracking, reconnecting ideas, and keeping everything moving...

the less space you have to imagine what's next.

That's the shift I've experienced over the last eight weeks.

Not because I found some magical AI tool.

But because I stopped treating AI like a chatbot...

and started treating it like a long-term thinking partner.

I'm still learning.

I'm still building.

But one thing has become really clear.

The goal isn't simply to become more productive.

The goal is to free your mind to do the work that only you can do.

Creating.

Leading.

Connecting ideas.

Seeing possibilities.

That's where your real value lives.

Now, Iโ€™m curious... ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿ’ญ What's one thing that's been taking up space in your head lately... that you wish you didn't have to keep remembering?

For me, it was constantly wondering, "What am I forgetting?" It wasn't one task, it was trying to hold everything together mentally.

What about you?

Just reply with one sentence. I'd love to know what's on your mind.

I recorded a video where I walk through exactly how this evolved over the last eight weeks, what I actually built, and why I think this changes the way we should think about AI.

Seeing it makes the whole concept much easier to understand. ๐Ÿ‘‡

We've already started building something special for physicians ๐Ÿ‘จโ€โš•๏ธ

Over the last several months, we've been bringing together physicians who are curious about AIโ€”not to talk about hype, but to explore how it's actually being used in medicine and business.

Inside AiM (AI & Marketing) Rounds, doctors are sharing:

  • How they're using AI in their practices

  • Marketing ideas that are actually working

  • Time-saving workflows

  • Questions they're trying to figure out

  • Lessons learned from real-world implementation

No sales pitches.

No pressure.

Just physicians learning from other physicians.

A few things worth checking out ๐Ÿ‘€

Just sharing a few things I've been exploring lately:

Was this email helpful?

I'd love your quick feedback.

โค๏ธ Loved it โ€” I learned something new.
๐Ÿ‘ Interesting โ€” It gave me something to think about.
๐Ÿ˜ Still exploring AI โ€” I'm not there yet, but I'm curious.
